Carter Praises Obama
This is just another testament to Jimmy Carter's understated brilliance. He seems wiser all the time. Just ask the Onion.
WhoaBama
It's been a wild ride in politics this week. Neither Colbert or Edwards won in their home state. Obama won in South Carolina. This was a major "whew" for me. Caroline Kennedy is also backing Obama now, which I think is fantastic. She added that Obama inspires the way her father did. I couldn't agree more.
Solid Seasons
The Packers and Colts both had good seasons. The Pack lost in a wild one earlier tonight. Negative four degrees and football: you can't beat that. I really don't think Favre can go out this way -- a lazy interception with the game on the line.
Both teams have pretty good outlooks heading into next season. The have major question marks, but great potential.
Random thought of the night: what was up with Jimmy Johnson's hair tonight?
Mad Ants
I didn't know Fort Wayne had a D-League team at all let alone had two former IU players on the roster. Crazy! Roderick Wilmont and Earl Calloway are both on the team. It is the developmental team for the Pacers as well as the Pistons. I'd really like to go to a game sometime. The Mad Ants! What an awesome name.
The season tickets look pretty cheap. I'd definitely pay these prices to see some former IU players play.
